Guide to cells, media and reagents

Better in vitro model with human iPSC derived cells
We believe that using cells derived from human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) gives you a more relevant, more reliable, more robust model for human disease to de-risk drug discovery. We believe our axoCellsTM give you a better in vitro model.
We have developed several types of axoCellsTM to complement your research:
- Sensory neurons
- Cardiomyocytes
- Motor neurons
- Astrocytes
- Microglia
- Cortical neurons
For research in specific diseases, we have axoCellsTM developed from patients with different neurological disorders, including:
- Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Friedreich’s ataxia
- Frontotemporal dementia
- Huntington’s disease
- Parkinson’s disease
Getting you results sooner with kits
In addition to human iPSC derived cells, we have developed a range of supporting products including specialized media and supplements capable of drastically speeding up cell maturation times, but also essential growth factors, like BDNF, CNTF, and NGF, and solutions used during expansion and passaging.
These products are designed to work together, which is why we have created kits. Kits will typically include your axoCellsTM, the supporting cell culture media, and any supporting reagents and supplements. We have grouped these together because we designed them to synergize and get you the results your research needs, sooner.
