In our labs we reprogram human cells to iPSCs and produce iPSC-derived cells and critical reagents such as media and growth supplements. Our range of primary cells is growing and we strive to provide useful and relevant experimental data to our customers. As part of the marketing group’s expansion, the company is looking to hire a very particular person.

Areas of responsibility

We are looking for a wordsmith, a scientist, and a keen commercial marketeer to best describe our mission, vision, and products to a variety of professional audiences.

Primary objectives

– Generate original scientific and promotional content-ready communication be it in a social media advert, blog, white paper, interview or brochure.
– Create and deploy purposeful and targeted communications to key customer segments
– Build and manage brand consistency through outbound communications including social media
– Maintain the company’s image and document library, managing updates and quality
– Work closely with Product Management to update product information and literature and go-to-market content
– Help maintain web content including impactful product information
– Partner with Marketing Communications to operate a regular schedule of outbound communication and support event participation

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities

The post holder will have the following experience, skills, and attributes:
– A joy of language and writing, with the flexibility to adopt different voices
– A strong opinion on the Oxford comma
– Technical knowledge of WordPress, Hubspot and performance measuring tools
– Marketing campaign planning and deployment experience through social media, website and print
– Experience in interviewing / blog / podcasting
– Experience in monitoring and analysing metrics to improve reach
– Self-starting, team player with confidence to offer ideas, with flexibility to adapt to fast moving goals
– A keen life sciences background and more importantly, the curiosity to learn
