Axol Bioscience Sporadic Alzheimer’s Disease Line Collection
Axol Bioscience, in partnership with StrataStem, has announced the release of a collection of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines derived from patients with sporadic Alzheimer’s Disease (sAD).This ‘Axol Bioscience Sporadic Alzheimer’s Disease Line Collection’ is available for use in Axol’s custom iPSC-derived cell manufacturing program and represents a significant advancement in the tools available for pre-clinical in vitro model building and drug discovery research.
Key highlights of the collection:
- Custom manufacturing capabilities for multiple neural cell types, including cortical excitatory neurons, cortical inhibitory neurons, microglia, and astrocytes
- Complete ApoE genotype profiling, including representation of E2/E3, E3/E3, E3/E4, and E4/E4 variants
