Advance your hiPSC-cardiomyocyte models
with improved maturation and scalable electrophysiology workflows
hiPSC-derived cardiomyocytes are transforming cardiac research, but limitations in cell maturity and electrophysiology throughput continue to slow progress. This webinar brings together leading experts to demonstrate how you can overcome these barriers and unlock more predictive, scalable cardiac models for drug discovery and safety testing.
In this two-part webinar, Dr. Jamie Bhagwan will first present a metabolic maturation medium, MyoMax™ maturation media to improve the maturation of axoCells™ hiPSC cardiomyocytes (CMs). In addition, a novel left ventricular differentiation protocol enabling enhanced chamber-specificity and the generation of homogenous ventricular populations will be described. Following, Dr. Kadla Rosholm will present the characterization and screening of cardiac ion channels and action potentials in axoCells™ hiPSC CMs using medium- and high-throughput automated patch clamp (APC).
You’ll gain practical insights to improve assay reliability, increase throughput and reduce experimental variability, helping you accelerate cardiac drug screening, disease modeling and cardiac safety and cardiotoxicity studies with greater success and confidence.
