|Purity||Greater than 95% by SDS-PAGE|
|Shipping conditions||Blue ice|
|Source||Produced in the endosperm tissue of barley grain (Hordeum vulgare)|
|Endotoxin level||<0.005 ng per µg of recombinant protein (0.05 EU/µg)|
|Reconstitution||Centrifuge the vial before opening. Reconstitute the lyophilized protein in sterile phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) + 0.1% Human Serum Albumin (HSA). The concentration of the reconstituted protein solution should be >100 µg/mL.|
|Stability||The lyophilized protein should be stored at -20°C. The reconstituted protein solution should be used immediately or stored in working aliquots at -20°C. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.|
|Usage notes||The optimal concentration should be determined for specific applications and cell lines. For use with Axol Neural Expansion-XF Medium (ax0030-500), supplement the medium with 20 ng/mL Recombinant Human EGF.|
Do you have any questions?
We recommend adding the growth factors EGF and FGF2 fresh each time Neural Expansion-XF Medium is used.
Axol do not recommend the expansion of NSCs prior to differentiation. For best results, thaw the frozen NSC and then begin the differentiation process 24 hours later.
