Kidney Fibroblasts (Adult)

Description

Human kidney fibroblasts from a single adult donor. Kidney tissue was dissociated to single cells and the fibroblasts were isolated by differential centrifugation and cultured to purity using Axol Fibroblast Plating & Growth Medium.

Here at Axol Bioscience we can offer a Reprogramming and Differentiation service, as part of our Custom Projects. We can generate induced Pluripotent Stem Cells (iPSCs) from these Kidney Fibroblasts and can differentiate the iPSCs into other cell types to assist with your research.

All of the cells provided are tested and are negative for HIV-1, HIV-2, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C as detected by PCR.

The cells are confirmed to be negative for mycoplasma and other detectable microbial contamination.
